parking on our property behind remote controlled gates

never charge a daily resort fee/service charge as some

Our Bungalows
have separate covered patio entrances with their own
table and chairs. Each Bungalow features custom designer
furnishings (see Photos), king-size beds, and two-man
tiled showers with rain shower heads and integrated seats. Only
steps from our guest kitchen and pool, the bungalows
offer mountain views and direct access into a
fenced area with citrus trees for shade for those

Our Junior Suites are
housed within the 1930’s Hacienda and feature coffered
ceilings, planked hardwood floors and private tiled
courtyard patios with mountain views over looking the
hacienda’s pool and fire pit. Gated entrances and
furnished patios truly make this accommodation not only
special but very private. Special features of these
suites are custom designer furnishings, king size beds
with Ralph Lauren bedding and fully tiled bathrooms with
custom designed step-down two man rain showers with

Suites
Our largest accommodations
feature Mexican paver flooring, French doors, antique
pine furnishings, and custom king size beds with Ralph
Lauren bedding. Our suites have oversized two-man
showers with individually controlled dual rain shower
heads and integrated tiled seats. Each suite features
unique design elements including beamed and planked
ceilings, skylights, larger sitting areas, and furnished
outside living areas. The Brokeback Suite is often
popular with the extended stay traveler as it has direct
access from the bathroom into the guest kitchen and
laundry facility. The Hacienda Suite has two sets
of French doors that open this suite to an outdoor
garden area for those wanting ultimate outdoor privacy--unlike any other accommodation in Palm Springs-- and
features a private outside living room with antique
Woodard upholstered wrought iron furniture.

required on weekends and a longer stay is required on certain
holidays and special events (click
for list). If available, one night stays on weekends, add
$30 per night.
Rates shown
do not include the Palms Springs Transient Occupancy Tax of
11.5%. The TOT does not apply to stays of 29 consecutive days or
longer.
Special
additional night promotions do not apply to pet charges.
Special
prices and minimum stays may apply to some holidays and special
events.
Catered Lunch
is available for certain rates quoted above, please inquire.
Generally, a catered lunch is not provided on the day that you
check out because check out is at 12:00 Noon and the lunches
usually arrive after that. If you have purchased a "Late Check
Out" lunch will be included.
Rates are
subject to change without notice; however, all reservations will
be honored at the rates quoted at the time of reservation. Check-in
time is after 3pm and check-out time is 12:00 noon. If you
need to check in or out at different times special arrangements
can be made with prior notice. We provide a complimentary day
room for late check-out/early arrival to store luggage and to
shower and freshen up. We request that all guests inform us in
advance of your anticipated time of arrival.
Hopefully,
you have selected Casa Ocotillo because we are not a traditional
hotel, and because we live here on property, Casa Ocotillo is an
extension of our own home. We promise that you will not be
disappointed in your choice. Unlike a traditional hotel, we do
not have a 24-hour front desk. So, much like you, we have
errands and appointments that take us off the property from time
to time. This makes it necessary to MAKE AN APPOINTMENT TO
CHECK-IN so that we can begin your experience here at the
"casa" with our personal welcome and tour of the property. If
you receive your reservation and there is no check-in time
indicated, please call us in advance to schedule a check-in
appointment. If you have made and appointment and that time is
going to change significantly, please call us so that we can
adjust our schedules.
We will do
our best to accommodate your special travel plans with either
early or late check-ins. Please inquire about availability at
the time you make your reservation.
Smoking is
allowed anywhere outside, but not inside the Casa. Sorry, but we
are not set-up to accommodate children.
We reserve
the right to make substitutions in our suites with no additional
charge for higher rate accommodations. Whenever possible we will
contact our guests to notify them if a change is needed.
It is our
policy to request a deposit of 50% of the total stay at the time
of reservation. Deposit for any one night stay is 100% of the
room rate. We require the deposit be made by a valid credit card
in order to guarantee your reservation. For your convenience, we
accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover credit
cards and debit cards. Upon arrival, we request payment for the
balance of your stay at Casa Ocotillo be made by credit card,
cash, personal or business check. If your plans change,
requiring you to check out before your confirmed departure date,
payment will not be refunded.
There will
be a $50 charge for a lost key or gate opener not returned at
check out.
We run
into problems when guests want to bring friends over. Please
understand that our home holds just 12 guests when we are
full. Bringing friends over can be unfair to the other guests who
paid for a quiet, relaxing visit. If you want to bring someone
else on property please inform us so that we can make a decision
that will be respectful of all of our guests. Additionally, our off-street
parking is only large enough for one space per accommodation.
Our
concierge service is available to make your stay comfortable and
enjoyable. If you need special attention, extra blankets or
pillows, directions to and reservations at a local restaurant,
booking a massage, or information on local entertainment venues,
we will be happy to assist you.

CANCELLATION POLICY
We operate
a very small business. Because of this, cancellations affect us
greatly and we must adhere to a strict cancellation policy. A
reservation may be changed or cancelled up to 14 days prior to
your scheduled arrival date. For reservations during Holidays
and special events, a reservation may be changed or cancelled up
to 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival date. If a
last-minute cancellation is necessary, a refund of your deposit
will be made only if we can re-book the space for the dates you
reserved.
