Casa Ocotillo are provided the very finest appointed rooms in
Palm Springs on the grounds of a 1934 Mexican hacienda! Among
the numerous amenities of our individually decorated bungalows
and suites include luxuries like Ralph Lauren bed collections,
2-man custom
tiled showers with integrated seats and rain shower heads, and a guest
service kitchen and laundry.
When we were in the
design phase of our property, we decided to eliminate small
in-room refrigerators. Instead we built a guest kitchenette,
providing our guests an area specifically designed for coffee
and bar functions separate and away from their bedrooms. The
kitchenette has a full-size French door refrigerator and ice
maker, toaster oven/microwave, toaster, sink and counter space.
The refrigerator is fully stocked for our guests with
complimentary sodas, bottled water, iced tea, fruit juices and
whole fresh fruit. We
didn't want our rooms to have to share bathroom counter space for
coffee and bar setups.
The decorating of each room has
been done incorporating fine museum quality artwork and furniture from Henredon
and Kreiss as well as antique English pine and custom designer
pieces. Mexican tile paver flooring and patios punctuate the old
hacienda architecture providing a cool, relaxed and casual
setting. The property photos support any superlative we could
use to describe the hacienda and its grounds. We even show
photos of each of our bathrooms.
 The lush manicured
grounds feature tropical plants and towering palms that frame
over five thousand square feet of lawn areas that our guests can
pass the day away in the sun filled gardens. Ten mature citrus
trees provide our guests access to fresh limes and lemons for
evening cocktails or fresh grapefruit, oranges and tangerines
for their morning juices (when in season). A juicer is one of
many conveniences available to our guests to make their Palm
Springs stay unique. Panoramic mountain views can be enjoyed
throughout the property and seem to be touchable from your pool
raft. Teak furniture and brightly colored market umbrellas set
the stage for outside activities.
 Casa Ocotillo is the
only accommodation exclusively for gay men that will take
guests back to the 1930’s and let them discover the beauty of
that era of old Palm Springs. Once inside the gates of the
Mexican hacienda enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of a time few can
experience. Enjoy morning coffee on your private patio or porch,
or lounge pool side on the teak garden furniture. Custom woven
wood blinds and French doors provide privacy and light to your
special oasis. Whether you choose to soak in the warm sun on one
of the pool rafts or take in a spectacular sunset pool side, the
Casa features one of the finest mountain vistas in all of Palm
Springs. Or maybe you'd like to stay in for the day and pop in a
movie from our complimentary
movie library that contains over
1,000 titles.
